Speaker of the House Mike Johnson slammed President Joe Biden for being “MIA as usual” during the pro-Hamas protests on university campuses, and President Donald Trump called the campus chaos “a sad thing to see.” They both appeared on Fox News (Hannity) to respond to the NYPD arresting more than 100 rioters at Columbia University.

New York Mayor Eric Adams also denounced the antisemitic rhetoric as he defended the actions of the police. The New York Post reports:

Mayor Eric Adams warned Wednesday that “outside agitators” had descended on Columbia University’s campus to radicalize students — as more than 100 pro-terror protesters were cuffed and hauled away by the NYPD overnight in a “massive operation.”

In total, 109 people were nabbed at the Ivy League campus after the NYPD responded to Columbia’s request to help oust a destructive mob that had illegally taken over the Hamilton Hall academic building late Tuesday, Adams and police said.

Cops are processing those arrests to “distinguish between who were actually students and who were not supposed to be on the grounds,” the mayor said at a news conference.

It was great to see the boys in blue finally able to do their job once again. It’s not always been that way the last few years, as their hands have been tied.

Mayor Adams did the right thing in sending the police to take care of business with the protestors. He was right that the “outside agitators” were radicalizing the campus protestors. Further, he was concerned that they were radicalizing youth across America who were witnessing this despicable behavior.

Last night, the NYPD tore down a Palestinian flag that had been put up at Columbia University. They rightly raised the American flag where it belonged. The sight recalled that patriotic moment after 9/11 when President George W. Bush raised the American flag amidst the rubble at Ground Zero.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo joined the broadcast and criticized President Biden’s failure to respond to the pro-Hamas protests:

You have President Biden sitting in the basement of the White House, not saying a single word about the threat to our democracy. The fact that these folks ran Palestinian flags up the flagpole and took down the American flag. That is a national challenge to national leadership from the White House. . . . You have to ask, Why hasn’t President Biden spoken? And I think it’s pretty clear: He is worried about angering his base. The handful of radical, pro-Hamas, leftist progressives have now taken control of the Democrat Party.

It's time for President Biden to stand up to the pro-Hamas faction of his party. Unfortunately, I don’t know if it will happen.

Also, former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard joined our show to discuss her new book For Love of Country: Leaving the Democrat Party Behind.

ACLJ Executive Producer Will Haynes, my radio co-host today, asked when Tulsi first noticed the Democrat Party changing to the far Left. She responded:

I started to see the insanity, frankly, when President Trump got elected – when he won that election in 2016. I was the first Democrat to go and meet with him in Trump Tower. . . . I was invited to speak to him about foreign policy. I served on the Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees, and I had the opportunity to speak to the next President of the United States about how we tackle radical Islamist terrorism and defeat it. . . . My former colleagues in Congress were . . . angry at me for meeting with Donald Trump. . . . What we now call “Trump derangement syndrome” began back then, and it led to this crazy escalation of illogical, irrational policies and thinking.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included a full analysis of the NYPD police arresting the pro-Hamas rioters at Columbia University. ACLJ Senior Counsel for International and Government Affairs Jeff Ballabon reacted to the shocking news of an arrest warrant possibly being issued for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
