If successful, this amendment would strike a huge blow to the abortion industry that Planned Parenthood leads.

According to Planned Parenthood’s own reports, it receives $350 million of taxpayer dollars each year for its operations that result in more than 300,000 abortions performed annually.  A huge portion of those taxpayer dollars come in the form of Title X family planning dollars.  If Congressman Pence’s amendment is successful and passed into law, it would be a monumental milestone in our ongoing fight to protect the life of the innocent pre-born.

Admittedly, passage of the amendment is an uphill fight.  However, our Government Affairs department is on the Hill informing Members that the American people are opposed to the taxpayer funding of abortion and in favor of the Pence Amendment.  While we are making your voice heard on Capitol Hill, please also take the time to call your Congressman and ask him or her to vote YES on the Pence Amendment to defund Planned Parenthood.
