Obama forced to lobby congress for abortion rights Printer Friendly Forward to a Friend

The following article was written by Jordan Sekulow, the Director of International Operations for the ACLJ and the co-host of Jay Sekulow Live.

In a move that will shock no one who has been following the Obama administration closely, Senior White House Adviser David Axelrod told CNN that, "The president has said repeatedly, and he said in his speech to Congress, that he doesn't believe that this bill should change the status quo as it relates to the issue of abortion."  Axelord reiterated the President's comments that "this shouldn't be a debate about abortion."

Really?  This sounds a lot different from the President Obama who, on his September 9 address to the nation on health care, said "one more misunderstanding I want to clear up - under our plan, no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions."
