US Gives Iran $6 Billion

US Gives Iran $6 Billion
STATUS:
Issued

The Biden Administration agreed to send $6 billion to Iran in 2023. The money was only to be spent on humanitarian aid but U.S. enforcement appears to have been non-existent. The release of these funds was supposedly put on hold by Qatar. But because of Iran’s attacks on our ally Israel and Iran’s support for Hamas, the ACLJ has submitted a FOIA request for information regarding the $6 billion and enforcement of the sanctions from the U.S. State Department.
